Pathways from education to sustainable national prosperity

Abstract
Education plays a crucial role in the sustainable growth of nations by
providing individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills, values, and
behaviors essential for achieving economic prosperity, ensuring social equity,
and promoting environmental stewardship. Through education, people are
empowered to drive innovation, reduce inequalities, and cultivate a society of
informed and active citizenship. Furthermore, education enables nations to
align with global goals such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by
cultivating a competent and adaptable workforce and fostering responsible
decision-making practices for a resilient and prosperous future. In essence,
education is the cornerstone of progress, offering the foundation upon which
nations can build a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow.
